He brings a strong track record in private and financial sector development, inclusive finance, and enterprise risk management, having led and supported high-impact initiatives that promote sustainable growth and financial inclusion.
At the Empower Skilled Trades Foundation (ESTF), Obed serves as a member of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Risk & Compliance Committee, where he contributes to the development of robust governance frameworks, compliance systems, and internal control mechanisms. His work supports ESTF’s commitment to operational integrity, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that programs and partnerships are effectively monitored and aligned with organizational goals.
Obed holds an MPhil in Finance and an MPhil in Development Studies, alongside a Bachelor of Education in Accounting, providing him with a strong academic foundation in finance, policy, and development practice. His professional experience includes regulatory compliance oversight, MSME development, and capacity building, including conducting compliance reviews for thousands of enterprises and supporting the development of financial products and policy frameworks.
