Mengaw Asnake Aychiluhim
Mr. Mengaw Asnake Aychiluhim is a Senior TVET and Institutional Expansion Expert at the Ministry of Labour and Skills in Ethiopia, dedicated to shaping a competitive and sustainable national workforce. As an active member of the Ethiopian Green Skills Excellence for Sustainable Transformation initiative, I specialize in aligning vocational training with future labor market demands and green economic growth.
His career is built on a strong foundation of systemic development and reform. I previously held a critical role ensuring TVET quality assurance across public and private training centers, establishing standard-driven metrics for educational excellence. This technical expertise has led to my appointment with several ministerial-level reform committees, where he actively contributes to modernizing national training frameworks, advancing digital transformation through Management Information Systems (MIS), and driving policy evolution.
Currently, he is heavily engaged at the federal level in the organizational planning, naming, and structural establishment of innovative skills parks. By spearheading these initiatives, he bridges the gap between technology-driven training spaces and sustainable labor policies.
Backed by a Master’s Degree in Transport Planning and Management, a Bachelor’s in Tourism Management, and professional certifications in ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management and Project Planning, he excels at leading complex institutional expansions. Whether designing federal greening tools, managing training technologies, or representing Ethiopia at international skills forums, my mission remains to empower the next generation through inclusive, high-quality, and future-ready vocational education.
