Evance Odhiambo Okoth
Evance Odhiambo Okoth is a digital skills trainer, social entrepreneur, and workforce development professional with more than seven years of experience advancing youth employability through education, skills training, and mentorship. As a member of the Finance & Audit Committee at the Empower Skilled Trades Foundation (ESTF), he brings a strong foundation in financial management, accountability, and institutional governance to support the Foundation’s commitment to transparency and responsible stewardship.
Evance is the Founder and CEO of Remoskill, where he leads initiatives that equip African youth with practical, market‑relevant skills for economic independence. His work spans digital skills training, entrepreneurship development, and inclusive workforce readiness, with a focus on empowering women, persons with disabilities, and underserved communities.
He holds an MBA in Accounting from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from Pwani University. As a Faculty Lecturer at The Kisumu National Polytechnic, he teaches financial principles and business education, further reinforcing his expertise in financial systems, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
In his role on the Finance & Audit Committee, Evance contributes to strengthening financial oversight, audit processes, and strategic resource allocation. His combined experience in program implementation, financial training, and organizational leadership enables him to support effective budgeting, compliance, and impact‑driven decision‑making.
Having trained and mentored more than 6,000 young people, Evance is committed to ensuring that financial decisions translate into measurable, inclusive, and sustainable development outcomes aligned with ESTF’s mission.
