Sakwe Noris is a seasoned fundraising strategist and nonprofit executive with more than a decade of experience helping mission‑driven organizations secure sustainable funding, build strong donor relationships, and scale their social impact. As a Member of the Fundraising & Development team at Empower Skilled Trades Foundation (ESTF), he applies his expertise to advancing ESTF’s mission of expanding economic opportunity through Red Seal aligned skilled trades training and ethical Africa–Canada workforce pathways.

Sakwe is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Think Like A Funder Consultancy, where he supports organizations in developing effective fundraising strategies, donor stewardship systems, and long‑term sustainability frameworks. His strategic insight strengthens ESTF’s ability to mobilize resources for women‑ and youth‑focused training programs, employer‑readiness initiatives, and global workforce development partnerships.

He also serves as Executive Director of ECOFUTURES, leading programs that promote sustainable development, environmental stewardship, and community resilience experience that aligns with ESTF’s commitment to ethical mobility and community centered impact. As Director of the Think Like a Funder Academy, he equips nonprofit leaders and fundraising practitioners with practical skills in donor engagement, proposal development, and institutional fundraising.

A certified Project Manager and Donor Retention Specialist, Sakwe has guided numerous organizations in strengthening their governance systems, institutional partnerships, and fundraising capacity.
