Tobias Nauruki is a distinguished executive leader, policy strategist, and governance expert with a strong track record in institutional development and cross-sector collaboration. As the Founding President and Chief Executive Officer of the Africa International Policy Research Center (AIPRC), he leads initiatives focused on strengthening governance, accountability, and sustainable development across Africa and beyond.

Within the Empower Skilled Trades Foundation (ESTF), Tobias serves on the Global Advisory Council as Strategic Partnership Advisor and Chair of the Strategic Partnership Committee. In this role, he provides strategic guidance on partnership development, helping to build and sustain high-impact alliances with governments, private sector leaders, multilateral organizations, and civil society institutions. His work is central to expanding ESTF’s global footprint and advancing its mission of creating inclusive pathways into skilled trades and workforce development.

Tobias brings extensive experience in global policy engagement, having contributed to initiatives connected to the United Nations, G20 civil society platforms, and international advisory networks. His expertise spans governance frameworks, compliance systems, youth empowerment, and institutional strengthening, enabling him to design partnerships that are both impactful and sustainable.

As Chair of the Strategic Partnership Committee, Tobias leads efforts to identify opportunities for collaboration, guide stakeholder engagement strategies, and ensure that all partnerships align with ESTF’s vision of empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and driving long-term economic development through skilled trades.
