Early Interest Collection

March 9 – March 22

The Early Interest Collection period is the first step for individuals who would like to learn more about Empower Skilled Trades Foundation programs before formal applications open.

This stage allows potential learners to:

  • Express their interest

  • Receive detailed program information

  • Begin preparing for the upcoming intake process

During This Period, Empower Will:

  • Collect basic information from individuals interested in future training programs

  • Share program details, eligibility requirements, and key timelines

  • Provide guidance on the most suitable training stream:

    1. Apprenticeship Readiness

    2. Fast Track

    3. Red Seal / Provincial Preparation

  • Help learners understand what documents or experience may be required for the next stage

  • Build an early list of motivated individuals who wish to be notified when full applications open

Important Note

Submitting an Early Interest Form is not a formal application.
It simply ensures you are informed, prepared, and among the first to receive updates when intake officially opens.

This early stage helps Empower plan program capacity, answer questions, and support learners as they prepare for full screening and eligibility verification.

Intake Opens

First Session: March 23 – April 19

The Empower Skilled Trades Foundation (ESTF) manages all intake, screening, and eligibility verification for learners entering our training programs.

Our intake process ensures that every participant:

  • Is placed in the correct learning pathway

  • Meets eligibility requirements

  • Is fully prepared for success in their chosen trade

ESTF Oversees:

  • Application review

  • Academic and document verification

  • Interviews and motivation assessments

  • Aptitude and foundational skills checks

  • Program stream placement:

    1. Apprenticeship Readiness

    2. Fast Track

    3. Red Seal / Provincial Preparation

Why This Process Matters

This structured screening approach ensures that only qualified, committed, and motivated learners enter training. It supports strong learning outcomes while maintaining the integrity and quality of our educational model.

Upcoming intake dates and event announcements will be posted here as they become available.
